Composition Reference Product Feature

A key capability of Model 3 was using a reference image to guide generation. I led the development of this feature, translating the model's capability into a workflow that allowed users to upload an image with their prompt and adjust its influence over structure and style.

Generative Expand Product Feature

Generative Expand allowed users to extend images with AI-powered outpainting. I worked with design to shape this capability into a practical workflow, making it easy to inpaint (add or remove content) and outpaint (expand an image) while ensuring it aligned with real creative needs.

Image Model 3 & Stylekits Model Eval & Collaboration

Model 3 introduced richer styles, photorealistic outputs, improved prompt coherence, and control. I worked across functions to evaluate model quality, address bias, and refine outputs. I also worked on Stylekits which enabled controled reuse and remixing for teams and enterprise customers.

Composition Reference
Composition Reference
Using composition reference, users could guide the camera angle and structure of a generated image by providing a visual reference rather than relying solely on descriptive prompts. This approach offered more precise control over composition and perspective, showcasing the power of multimodal conditioning in generative workflows.

I led both model evaluation and feature development for this capability—building a prompt library to test, demonstrate, and refine key use cases for reference-based generation. This library became central to the automated and human eval processes I supported. On the product side, I was responsible for the end-to-end user experience, including curating a library of starter references to help users get results quickly. We also integrated guardrails to provide meaningful control while respecting creative ownership and intent.

Image Model 3
Image Model 3 Eval
Image Model 3 introduced richer styles, photorealistic outputs, better prompt coherence, and more precise control. To evaluate model quality and readiness, I built a prompt library to assess key attributes like style diversity, photorealism, human rendering and bias, and complex prompt handling.

A core challenge was balancing subjective human judgment with structured qualitative and quantitative signals. I partnered across teams to shape evaluation tools and workflows—using Adobe's global design organization as customer zero to stress-test the model, validate use cases, and build confidence for release.

Stylekits
I worked on Stylekits for Firefly—a feature designed to help teams and enterprise customers create reusable presets for faster, more consistent image generation and remixing. Stylekits made it easy to bundle prompts, effects, styles, and reference images into a single shareable kit.

These kits enabled properties to be locked or overridden, allowing lightweight governance while enabling collaborative creativity. Born from the insight that custom-trained models wasn't the solution for certain usecase, Stylekits introduced a more accessible way for small teams to co-create and maintain visual consistency without needing to fully invest in bespoke models. Stylekits introduced the first layer of multiplayer collaboration and remixing for Firefly.

Gallery & Generation History
I also worked on our gallery—designed as both an inspirational showcase and a key entry point into creation. It featured standout user submissions and allowed others to remix them, helping overcome the blank canvas challenge in a fun, approachable way. The gallery became a playful space for learning and exploration with generative AI. I also led work on generation history, building foundational components that let users revisit, favorite, and archive their creations—introducing project-like organization tailored to the unique needs of AI-powered workflows.
